On October 22, 2024, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York entered an order, over Rudolph Giuliani’s opposition, authorizing Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, two Georgia election workers he defamed, to sell several Giuliani’s assets and appointed them as receivers to liquidate those assets. A copy of the Court’s order can be found here.
Giuliani was required to turnover the receivership property or execute such documents as necessary to effectuate the transfer of ownership to Freeman and Moss within seven (7) days of the entry of the Order.
The receivership assets are comprised of:
- The shares evidencing Defendant’s interest in 45 East 66th Street Owner Corp., appurtenant to the apartment located at 45 East 66th Street, Apt. 10W, New York, NY 10065, and any proprietary lease, and other document entitling him to ownership and possession of such apartment;
- All rights and interests in, and cause of action for, fees owed to Mr. Giuliani for services rendered in 2020 and 2021 to former President Trump’s presidential campaign and the Republican National Committee;
- The nonexempt cash in the checking accounts held at Citibank, N.A. with account numbers ending in -1428 and -5812 (excluding amounts exempt under applicable law);
- Mercedes-Benz, Model SL500, model year 1980;
- Various items of furniture;

- 2 Breitling Watches;
- 1 Raymond Weil Watch;
- 1 Baume & Mercer Watch;
- 6 additional Watches; and
- Any additional property as may be ordered by the Court upon motion of Receivers or other judgment creditors of Defendant.
The Order did not determine the validity of the homestead exemption asserted by Giuliani as to his Palm Beach, Florida condominium and three World Series rings which his son, Andrew, claims Giuliani gifted to him.
Both the election workers and Giuliani have moved for summary judgment on the homestead issue. The Court has set a bench trial on the homestead issue in the event the motions are denied.
The dispute over ownership of the World Series rings has been deferred.
David’s Dicta: Dunn Law, P.A. is local counsel to Freeman and Moss and domesticated their judgment against Giuliani in Florida to create a lien against his Florida condominium.
